The Role of Agroforestry in Poverty Alleviation: A Case Study from Nujiang Prefecture, Southwestern China

Agroforestry has gained increasing attention as a sustainable land use mode to ensure food security, mitigate global climate change, and improve farmers’ livelihoods. Likewise, agroforestry plays key role in alleviating poverty, mitigating change achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) China. Lanxangia tsaoko, typical species Nujiang Prefecture, vital improving After years of development, tsaoko industry (LTI) Prefecture made remarkable achievements accumulated useful experiences. Taking development LTI an example, this paper analyzes impact on livelihoods its mechanism through field survey theoretical deduction.
